Raquel Skellington is an internationally recognized professional model, content creator, and industry leader in immersive entertainment. She is best known as the world’s first professional LARPer and the founder of the Philadelphia LARP Society, where she blends fashion, performance, and storytelling to bring live-action roleplay into mainstream visibility. Her work bridges the worlds of fine art, fashion, and immersive experiences, always with a focus on integrity, inclusivity, and creative excellence.

Just be passionate and genuine! The following will come from your joy
Have you ever taken a break from social media? Do you think it’s important to do so?
Yes! Sometimes a few days to add long as 2 months, I think it’s very important to maintain your mental health!
What is your main focus, blog, Instagram or other?
What do you enjoy writing about most? If you don’t have a blog, what is your favorite type of content to create?
I love taking photos, but also making videos about my passion for live action roleplay!
Were you positively or negatively impacted due to COVID? How so and what has that looked like? Any advice?
I’m a weird way, positively? Because it forced me to switch up my priorities.Do you blog/create content full-time or part-time?

Tell us your dream partnership? Who do you dream of working with and what do you want to do?
La Femme Noir, an alternative fashion brand! I think their clothes match up with my style both privately and publicly and I think not only would I look good in their stuff. But they would love to have me looking good in it for them!
What is your current goal for blogging/creating content?
Continue to build my presence. I believe that President doesn’t just mean online it also means in person and at events. I want to become more involved with Philadelphia as a city and local businesses!
What does a typical day look like for you? Whether you create content part-time or full-time.
It depends. I do work as a full-time model. If it’s a day where I’m booked I will get up do my skincare routine and prepare for my booking. Usually after my booking I will come home and work out or go to ballet. If it’s a day where I don’t have a booking but I am still creating content like a YouTube video or heading out to a live action event- I usually spend most of the day preparing for that, or traveling to location!

Recently getting featured by the top art schools of Philadelphia as a premier international model!
How has your content changed since you first starting creating content?
I definitely think it’s become more refined and mature.
What makes your blog/content different from everyone else?
Well I am the world’s first and only professional live actual player so that helps! I think as well as a multiracial person I have a really unique look and a really unique way of expressing myself. No one else can really do what I do or has the knowledge around my industry of live action roleplay that I have so it makes me a One stop shop!
What is one thing you wished people knew about blogging/creating content?
It’s very time consuming.
What is one thing that frustrates you about blogging/creating content?
Editing, honestly I am not good at video editing and it slows everything down for me.

What is something that people may not know about you? Any special skills or achievements?
I was a contortionist as a child and I can walk on stilts! I also love to build doll houses.
